Welcome to Guns Up! Training, Firearms & Gun Range
Guns Up! is located at 119 W. Stevenson in Hale Center. Established in 2022, it is a small gun store with a large variety of services and products. Store hours are 10 am to 5:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday.
Guns Up! is the home of “Try it before you buy it.” If you find a handgun at Guns Up! you are interested in purchasing, we will allow you to take it next door to the Guns Up! Gun Range and try it out. Guns Up! wants you to be satisfied with your purchase.
The Guns Up! store has new and used firearms, ammunition, and accessories including concealed handgun purses, safes, cleaning supplies, holsters, magazines, hearing protection, bulletproof backpacks, and much more.
Should we not have the firearm you are looking for in stock, we will be glad to order it for you, at no extra charge.
The store also carries a wide variety of ammunition, from the most common handgun calibers—22, 380, 40, 9mm, 45, etc to the hard-to-find long gun ammo.
Guns Up! takes trade-ins, and will also buy your unwanted firearms that are looking for a new home. In addition, Guns Up! will sell your firearms for you on a consignment basis.
Guns Up! provides State of Texas approved training including the License To Carry Class and the School Safety Officer (better known as Guardian) certification. Check out the links for more information.
The Guns Up! Gun Range is available for you to practice indoors. You may use most handguns (not including 5.7 X 28) and small caliber rifles such as 22s or 9mm. ARs and shotguns are not allowed.
The cost is only $20 per person.
Guns Up! Gun Range is also a proud partner to the Hale County 4-H Club Running Water Draw Shooting Sports where youth practice at the gun range with 22 rifles. They have also just started a new pistol program. For more information about the 4H program contact the Hale County Extension Service at 806/291-5267.
